Soldotna Trustworthy Hardware store is running their 10th Annual Ice Fishing Derby for those Kenai Peninsula anglers who want to get out and have some fun, take the kids fishing, and just maybe end up with one of the many great prizes being awarded. It begins February 1st and ends on February 28th.

Soldotna Trustworthy Hardware and Alaska Outdoor Journal want to encourage more adults to take their kids out ice fishing during the derby. The price is right and there is no better way to do some bonding with young anglers than to show them the ropes for ice fishing. What better way for AOJ to encourage more kids to participate than to have a page with their pictures they can show to others via the Internet. So parents, get those kids out and hook'em up with some fish and they'll get their photo posted here for Grandma and Grandpa to see back in Florida. :-)
